A CELTIC CHRISTMAS

A CELTIC CHRITSMAS 

 Sleep, my baby,

 sleep my dear one,

snuggle softly,

 safe and warm.

 Mother gently

watches over you,

 nestled in her

 loving arms.

Guardian angels

gather round you,

Blessings brought from

heaven above;

 Hush, my babe

 in peaceful slumber,

know our hearts undying love.

Good people all,

this Christmas time,

 consider well,

and bear in mind

 what good our God

 for us has done

 in sending His

 beloved Son. 

 With Mary holy

 we should pray

 to God with love

 this Christmas Day. 

In Bethlehem

 upon that morn,

 there was a blessed

 Messiah born.
